Once they’re within range, come after them with everything and everyone you can. You’ll want to pull him towards your units and preferably out of the Avo fog, so send that nice juicy high defense bait that can eat a Lodestar Strike. This is to help setup the swarming of Past Alear, who again, will have a pair of corrupted Revival Beads. Once you have your middle units getting closer to Past Alear and you’ve taken out a couple ballista, start changing those lanes or trying to get to the end of the upper and lower mountain areas. If you have any other mounted units, they’ll have greater mobility and can change lanes more effectively. If you have any fliers, they have the ability to hover over the large rock formations around the middle. Swam them if you have to because there are Psychic users nearby who will heal the Wyrms if you can’t kill them in one turn.Ĭontinue clearing the way and taking cover when you need. If you can safely get to the Wyrms without also putting yourself in position to be clipped by the ballista, take them out as quickly as you can. Make your way as best you can to the right of your starting position - which the mid mountain will already be knocked back for - and start clearing the way of enemies. The name of the game is slow-and-steady survival. Also consider inheriting Hit +10 from Sigurd and/or Divine Pulse from Byleth for this battle, as you never know when you’ll need to do battle with someone in the Avo fog. While this can be annoying for mountain movement, it leaves them unable to attack first or multiple times and allows you to get the jump all the time. You shouldn’t worry too terribly much about enemies that aren’t ballistas or Wyrms, mostly because even the ones who come as reinforcements will almost all have Smash weapons. ![]() We’ll also need to lean on Emblems like Sigurd and Lyn to cover lots of ground. The order of the sweeps will be lower, upper, mid and then repeat. Set characters accordingly, as you’ll be warned when the avalanche is coming 2 turns ahead of time. They will sweep down one section of the mountain at a time, sending your characters sprawling all the way to the bottom unless there’s a rock or an enemy behind them. The major gimmick of this level, however, is that there are avalanches that will occur every couple of turns. ![]() Be aware of where your fliers are at all times, as they can get taken down by the ballista. ![]() Make sure to keep your units in rows unless you want to be swarmed by enemies on all sides. The Wyrms can be taken out along the way, as can every foe you come across. The top priority should be to topple all the ballista, which will open up getting close to Past Alear with minimal risk. Past Alear, bearing two corrupted Revival Beads, is to the far right of the mid mountain. Each row of the mountain has a Wyrm and a ballista, as well as lots of Avo-aiding fog all over the place. Your army is split into three different forces in three rows that we’ll label upper mountain, mid mountain, and lower mountain.
